Your microphone
iProfessor listens only while a lesson is running, and only after you allow it. Your browser converts what you say into text on your device using the browser's own speech recognition; we use that text solely to recognise short spoken commands such as "pause", "resume", "break time" and "stop and save". We do not record, store, or upload audio from your microphone. Closing the lesson turns the microphone off.
The tutor's voice
The words iProfessor speaks are written lesson text. That text is sent to our speech provider to be turned into audio, and the audio is played back to you. Nothing about your screen or your files is included.
Your account and progress
We store your email address, an optional display name, whether you use Windows or Mac, and your place in each lesson (current step, practice attempts, time spent). Only you can read your own rows. You can ask us to delete your account and everything attached to it at any time.
Your screen
iProfessor does not currently capture, record, or analyse your screen. The guide-circle is drawn from lesson content that was written in advance — it is not derived from anything on your display. If screen reading is ever added, it will be opt-in, disclosed here first, and will require an explicit operating-system permission that you grant yourself.
Your mouse and keyboard
iProfessor never moves your mouse, clicks, or types for you. You stay in control at all times.
